November 5th,
Paulette returned to North Shore Towers Country Club in Floral Park,
performing her popular Show Stoppers, accompanied by Kenneth Bowen.
Roy Sander in Back Stage said
she's "a combination of Lily Pons and Carmen Miranda. I daresay millions
would adore her." "The classiest singer around today" is how Marjorie
Gunner described her in The New York Voice, and Howard
Thompson at The New York Times described Paulette as "Beautiful,
animated, plaintive, and intense." Selections from Paulette's CD and

presented Paulette's SHOW STOPPERS - (‘Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin',’ 'Politics and Poker,' 'Sunrise, Sunset', Someone to Watch Over Me', Quando M'en Vo', 'I'm Getting Married in the Morning," ‘Everything’s Coming Up Roses’, 'It's De-Lovely' and many more) along with intriguing anecdotes of theater lore.
On June
27th, Paulette appeared on her favorite late night show: "Late
Night with Conan O'Brien"
On June
17th at 8pm at the North Shore Towers Country Club in Long Island,
more great "Show Stoppers" was the bill of faire.
On June
6th, at PS 163 in the Bronx, Paulette presented her popular "Time
for a Rhyme" show.
On
Tuesday, June 3rd, at the Donnell Library 20 West 53rd Street in
Manhattan at 6pm, Paulette presented "Show Stoppers," singing
great hits from the musical theatre. She had got
two terrific guest stars for this
performance -Paul Harman and Marcus Kettles. Paul has appeared in 12
Broadway shows, played opposite Anthony Quinn in the National tour of "Zorba,"
sang in Carnegie Hall for the concert versions of "Chess" and "Sondheim:
A Celebration." Marcus has also sung at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, played
leading roles in both musicals and plays.
Paulette
sang and recited original poems for school children - her popular show,
"Time for a Rhyme" - with two shows on May 12th in Brooklyn at IS
201.
On Sunday,
January 12th, Paulette showcased 3 of her shows: "About Time",
"Hollywood Goes Broadway", and "The Irving Berlin Revue",
for the APAP Conference presented at the York Theatre in NYC.
2002
On
Sunday, December 21 for her 6th year, Paulette performed a show for
patients in
local hospitals, who are bused to the Staten Island Jewish Community
Center for this annual event, with a lovely breakfast provided by the
B'Nai Brith of Staten Island.
On
December 16, Paulette joined MAC members, singing Christmas carols at
three fire houses in NYC. A jolly time was had by all.
On
December 8, Paulette returned to the Staten Island JCC to entertain
hospital patients who are bused in to attend this special, annual event.
Written up in the Staten Island Reporter, this was Paulette's 5th
year performing there.
Of her over one thousand concerts,
Paulette has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Hollywood
Bowl, Bruno Walter Auditorium, Westbury Music Fair and concert halls in
Japan, South America, Mexico and Canada.
Paulette has sung for Presidents and
Heads of State, including being chosen to sing in Washington D.C. for
Israel's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Paulette's July 14th,
concert at the Klein JCC in Philadelphia, took place after the center had
received a bomb threat. The show was performed without incident, with
"United Are We" receiving a standing ovation.
On October 10th, Paulette sang for the Campaign
Kickoff at the Jewish Community Centre in Reading, Pa. A picture, with
article about Paulette appeared in the Augusta Chronicle on October 18,
2002. Her show, "About Time" was presented in Augusta,
Georgia for the Annual Jewish Women's Symposium.
