Publishers note: It is our sincere belief that the present work is the most up to date, accurate and informative “Documented Publication” on America’s Greatest Singers/Entertainers and English speaking artists worldwide from the 19th century to present. Listing of all categories, styles and genre and artists’ ranking; 16-Number of artists performances, appearances, shows and length of career; 17-Number, size and scope of public references and sites dedicated to artists, entertainers and performers; 18-National and international news wire agencies;

 

 

19-Size and number of performances, shows and appearances of artists, performers, entertainers in foreign countries; 20-National and international awards earned or bestowed upon; 21-Number of artists’ national and international bests-selling records, Albums, CDs and hits worldwide; 22-Number of public appearances on the silver screen, television and radio; 23-Number and size of artists’ national and international tours; 24-Products endorsed by artists; 25-Products and brands named after an artist; 26-Independent, authorized and unauthorized bibliographies written about artists; 27-Academic researches, papers and dissertations written about artists; 28-Inclusion of artists in major national and international directories, guides, Who’s Who and encyclopedias; 29-Amount of articles about artists that appeared in regional, national and international newspapers and publications. 30-Amount of documentaries, programs and specials about artists which were aired on radio and television; 31-Amount and number of songs recorded by original artists which were re-recorded and performed by other artists worldwide, including foreign languages; 32-Amount and nature of artists’ names mentioning and reference to in any sort and kind of publications, press releases, interviews, communiqués, comparisons, bills and studies by professional and amateurs at all levels and related fields and disciplines; 33-Number of cover stories, feature articles and how many times artists photos appeared on the cover of major national and international newspapers, magazines and related publications; 34-How many times, the name of an artist appeared in worldwide Internet search and related links; 35-    Monuments, statues, figurines, sites, avenues, streets, drives, highways, boulevards, places, plazas, centers, colleges, universities, institutions, events, festivals, genres/styles, toys, dolls, coins,  trophies, awards, fashion, couture, jeans, clothe, apparel, perfume, assortments, cosmetics, food, sports gadgets and products named  after   an   artist;  36-Amount of artists' printed and sold posters, memorabilia, souvenirs, bricbrac, T shirts and various items on the national

 

 

and international markets; 37-Artist' number of Gold and Platinum records; 38-Additional various considerations and up dated data.

NOTA BENE:  The roster includes American female cabaret and torch singers-entertainers and foreign counterparts who sang in English regardless of their ethnic backgrounds  and nationalities. This compilation should not be considered as an integrally complete work, for additional names might be added in the future, in virtue of the inclusion and selection criteria.
